AMT is the most prestigious tennis event in Latin America. It's an ATP500 tournament played on hard court and it iscelebrated during the last week of February in Acapulco, Guerrero.

This tournament edition is a very special one, because Acapulco people were suffering due to Otis natural disaster that destroyed the place few months ago.

Four months after the natural disaster, Acapulco people and many foundations and sponsors invested their best efforts to make this tournament happen.
