PSP, our time to share our story

Tennis has been my world. Any athlete worst nightmare is being injured and stop doing what we love the most. I got injured many times, uncountable until surgery was the last chance and hope. I went thru patella surgery and the recovery process. The first goal was to do exercise again without pain and after that to return to competition.

The second one was harder, specially when you are impatient and hope to return to play like before. Going back to compete and win at my first try, was unreal. Literally, did not happen.

Fortunately, in the meantime, I discovered a skill that had never realized nor that I never thought about or considered being interested: photography.

While working on getting my level and confidence back to compete, I began to take photos to my Friends and knowns while they were playing, and I really enjoyed that.

Feeling alive once again, not competing at my best, but enjoying being there, near the action, and capturing their performance and emotions. Then, I began to do it for hobby, people asked me to take their photos, I did, no payment just pleasure, until I realized that I could make it profitable. Initiating something because I enjoy and love doing it,and that´s our story about how Polanckova Sports Photopgraphy came to exist.

I love and enjoy doing it. Sometimes after some days of full coverage, it feels like I am also competing, but no, it is just worthy tiredness that I am very keen to repete once again after a suitable rest.

My business means that it is possible to do what you love and get profits from it. I am very thankful to sports, because it helped me become who I am, to fight for something in or out the court, to be resilient and patient and never give up on something, specially if you love it.

I specially want to thank every single person who has supported me in this journey. Thanks to all of them for their confidence and loyalty, for giving me a chance to work in something I really love.
